Strategic & Staffing Planning

We supported the North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE), an education nonprofit, in confirming their strategic priorities (based on an outdated strategic plan), developing a 1-year organizational plan, and preparing for changing staffing needs.

We supported a nonprofit executive at a regional nonprofit to develop and implement improved operational structures and processes for program development and project management.

Operating Model Design Project
Planning & Project Management
We supported a large nonprofit institute in planning for restructuring operating models and norms to enable organization-wide flexibility and agility and address departmental silos. Using a Design Thinking approach, collaborative planning included 14 facilitated sessions with co-creation teams from 4 diverse departments. Change management guidance for handling team challenges and implementing new structures was also provided to division and departmental leaders. We served this confidential client, an international research and technical services institute with more than 2,500 employees, through a partnership with a leading organizational development consultant.

We supported a higher education leader in planning and implementing a restructuring of their departmental staffing, including aligning position descriptions with current needs and reflecting a more collaborative environment.
Technology Assessment Project
Project Management
We worked with a nonprofit partnership to coordinate technology assessments and upgrades targeting more than 30 of their nonprofit members, including facilitating timely purchasing using CARES Act funding. Acting as a liaison between technology vendors and leaders at each member nonprofit, we guided organizations through a technology assessment process and the selection of tools and platforms most appropriate and sustainable for their environment and users.
